Every mile of the MTRA trail system runs on member dues, donations, and volunteer hours. Here's how you can help.
Annual membership is the single biggest way to support the trails. Dues fund bridges, signage, brushing, and landowner relations.
Individual & family memberships available. Join or renew at a monthly meeting, by mail, or by messaging the club on Facebook.
Not ready to ride but want to help the club? One-time donations go directly to trail maintenance, equipment, and bridge materials. Every dollar stays on the trails.
Checks payable to: Messalonskee Trail Riders ATV Club
Mail to: 1348 Hinckley Road, Clinton, ME 04927
The club runs on volunteer hours — trail days, signage, bridge work, and events. Bring a saw, a rake, or just yourself. Work gets done either way.
Work party schedules are posted on Facebook and announced at the monthly meeting.
Our trails cross private land. If you own property in or around Oakland and are open to a conversation about trail access, we'd love to hear from you.
The club carries liability insurance and handles all signage, maintenance, and rider education.
MTRA meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Oakland Police Station. Open to members and anyone interested in joining.
Meetings cover trail conditions, work party scheduling, landowner updates, events, and club business.
